Peruvian pomegranate exports in the first two months of 2021 totaled $16 million.

 

During the first two months of 2021, Peru exported 6,434,632 kilos of pomegranates for a FOB value of $ 16,210,259. While in the same period in 2020 they exported 4,387,559 kilos of that fruit, for a value of $ 9,465,668.

The main destination for pomegranate supplies between January and February 2021 was the Netherlands, with placements for $ 12,215,863 (75% of total shipments). Followed by Canada with $ 1,119,754, Russia with $ 788,270, the United States with $ 781,392, the United Kingdom with $ 489,746 and others with smaller amounts that totaled $ 815,234, according to Agrodata Peru.
