Established 40 years ago, MAF RODA is a French family-business recognized as a grading & sorting machines specialist worldwide with 1 000 employees worldwide, including around 100 persons in China.
Met at Fruit Logistica 2018, M. Jean-Christophe Couzin, Vice President of Operations commented : "The first electronic sorting machine sold in China has been a MAF RODA operated in HUASHENG packing station. This has been inaugurated by highest Chinese authorities to emphasize the develoment towards a modern agriculture.
MAF RODA has first been set up in Beijing, then back in 2006, the first production facility has been built up in Yantai area (Shandong Province) which the main area for apples production. MAF RODA is present on main big packing houses for 2 main reasons :
Our main strength is high quality of our products. This concerns not only external detection but also internal detection. For instance, do you know we are the only one to be able to measure orange brix when the batch is mixed with ripened and non ripened ? Another example of the quality of our product is the ergonomy of our software. Our customers often mention that it is really user-friendly.
Our second strength lies in quality of our Customer Support. When you want to deserve the best service, you need to be quickly present if something goes wrong.
We benefit from a lot of experience in optical sorting which the key element. Quality sorting of oranges in China is different from the one in Spain. This because fruits are different and defaults are also different.
The company is delivering ready-to-use projects, controlled from A to Z by its experts. Projects can also been adapted according to customers needs.The whole process is covered : from basic machines, emptiers, washing, treatment, then sorting and packaging machines.
