In 2008, the sales of organic products in France increased by 25% as compared with 2007.

 

 

In last three years, the sales of bio products rose about 60% attaining 2,6 milliard of EUR.

 

 

According the information of Agence Bio, company specializing in organic products, this increase will continue, also thanks to the French Government's activity to distribute products without pesticides.

 

 

The areas in France where bio products are cultivated increased from 210,000 hectares in 1999 to 580,000 hectares last year.
