The Union of the Groupings of producers of bananas of Guadeloupe and Martinique (UGPBAN) takes the management of “Muri Tours”.
After Fruidor and its 8 ripening facilities implanted in Bordeaux, Cavaillon, Lille, Lyon, Metz, Nantes and Rungis in December, 2008, the UGPBAN continues its strategy of commercial development on the French market.
By resuming the management of Muri Tours, UGPABAN can henceforth to offer a regular and reliable service of West Indian bananas from the market of Tours and to the Centre region ", specifies Philippe Ruelle, Manager of the UGPBAN.
This ripening facility has a 7000 tons capacity, which could extend to 10 000 tons with the ad of three cold storages envisaged by the UGPBAN.
